HVAC Service Tech – Bauernfeind & Goedtel

Job Summary: Bauernfeind Goedtel is seeking a skilled and motivated HVAC Service Technician, specializing in the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, exceptional troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. This role requires the ability to work independently, efficiently, and safely while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot multiple brands / manufacture of equipment
• Able to work independently to make a functioning system
• Replace worn or defective components of HVAC systems
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently
• Clean and calibrate systems to improve functionality and energy efficiency
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and provide customers with system performance reports
• Diagnose issues in HVAC systems
• Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications to resolve problems
• Able to decide when to repair or replace
• Familiar with service and start up reports
• Adhere to safety protocols

Position Report to: Project Manager

Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm (hours may vary depending on job)

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Saturday-Sunday depending on job)

Location: Varies depending on project location, typically within a 60-air mile radius of Faribault, MN

Salary: $25-$40+ /hr. (depending on experience)

• Time and half on service calls after hours
• Spiff Payment for each call
